After many years of waiting, the day has finally arrived: tickets to QED 2022 are now on sale!

QED 2022 will take place on the 28th-30th of October, with tickets this year costing £120, or £80 for students and under 18s. In keeping with tradition, Friday 28th of October will once again be a free Skepticamp event for all to attend, paving the way for a packed weekend of science, reason and critical thinking.

It has been a quite-frankly-ridiculous four years since our last QED in 2018, but once again our attendees will converge at Manchesterʼs Piccadilly Hotel to enjoy four rooms of skeptical presentations, panel discussions, podcasts, workshops and more. Weʼre working hard to make sure QED 2022 will be the weekend youʼve all been waiting for, with guest speakers including:

  • Historian, author and broadcaster Dr Fern Riddell
  • Sustainable geoscientist and science communicator Dr Chris Jackson
  • Hugely-popular comedy podcast God Awful Movies, featuring Noah Lugeons, Eli Bosnick and Heath Enwright
  • Psychologist and philosopher Dr Ema Sullivan-Bissett
  • Sociologist and biologist Dr Joy Y. Zhang
  • Comedian, archeologist and podcaster Paul Duncan McGarrity as our MC for the weekend

Every weekend ticket also gives attendees access to our Saturday evening entertainment, as well as to the annual Ockham Awards for skeptical excellence, presented by *The Skeptic* magazine. Also available now are tickets to our ever-popular Charity Dinner, where you can share a meal in the company of our speakers... but hurry, because tickets to the dinner are limited, and will be gone before you know it! You can reserve your place at the dinner when you buy your ticket for the weekend.

Parents of children under 13 can take advantage of our free crèche, where your child will be supervised and entertained for the weekend by fully-screened and registered professional childcare workers. Places are limited, and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Find out more about how to book a place at the crèche.

Thereʼs still plenty for us to announce, including panel sessions, podcast recordings, evening entertainment and more speakers, plus a few extra surprises too... so be sure to follow us on Twitter or Facebook to make sure you donʼt miss anything.

Book your ticket now and weʼll see you in October!
