People at the QED Gala Dinner

New for 2018 is the Charity Dinner, replacing the Saturday night Gala Dinner from previous years.

The Charity Dinner is an opportunity for you to enjoy a delicious three-course meal in the company of some of our guest speakers, with proceeds donated to our nominated good cause, which this year is the Good Thinking Society.

Tickets cost £80 and are strictly limited, exclusive to attendees of QED, and available on a first-come, first-served basis only.

Our Nominated Charity

People at the QED Gala Dinner

The Good Thinking Society is a registered charity which aims to challenge pseudoscience and champion the scientific method. The charityʼs work has included a campaign to end NHS support for homeopathy, which has most recently led to the end to homeopathy funding in London.

Dress Code

Like previous dinners, the Charity Dinner has no formal dress code, though many people will choose to make an evening of it, and dig out their party dresses and bow ties. You are more than welcome to join in, or not. Whatever takes your fancy.

Saturday Night Party

Following the dinner we have an outstanding live entertainment programme planned. This is free to all QED attendees, you don’t need a ticket for the dinner to attend the Saturday night party.
