Latest Update

Thanks to everyone who contributed to QED 2017, including our guest speakers, hard-working volunteers, and supporters big and small. Thanks most of all to our amazing audience, who make the event what it is. See you all next year..?

SkeptiCamp Manchester

For the fourth year running, we’re sponsoring a free SkeptiCamp event as part of QED weekend. At SkeptiCamp, the attendees are responsible for the creation and delivery of the day’s content, and anyone is eligible to present a talk. You don’t need to be a published author, famous podcaster or professional communicator to get involved. SkeptiCamp Manchester 2017 takes place on Friday 13th October and is completely free!

For more information, or to register to speak, visit skepticamp.co.uk.

The QED Quiz with Cosmic Shambles

This year’s QED Quiz will be a fun-filled multi-media affair presented by Book Shambles with Robin Ince and Josie Long and The Cosmic Shambles Network.

We’ll be delving into the world of science, skepticism, science fiction, classics and more and, just like the show itself, we’ll be using books as a jumping off point. But if you’re not a big reader, don’t stress, there’ll be something for everyone! Hosted by Shambles producer Trent Burton with great prizes including books, event tickets and more!

Numbers are strictly limited, so make sure you register your team of four (no more, no fewer) today!
