Childcare at QED
Since 2013, we have offered an on-site childcare facility, which we hope will help make the event more accessible to parents who would like to attend QED.
What is included?
Free childcare will be available from 8am to 5pm on the Saturday and 9am to 4.30pm on Sunday. Parents are responsible for their childʼs breakfast and lunch requirements.
Your child will be supervised and entertained by fully-screened and registered professional childcare workers. All childcare workers will be required to have current DBS clearance.
Childcare is available to children up to the age of 12, and can also accommodate children with disabilities. If your child is 13 or older, they are welcome in the main event areas, if accompanied by a responsible adult.
What does it cost?
This is offered free of charge to parents attending the weekend event.
How do I register?
To register your child with our childcare service, send an email to childcare@qedcon.org with your name, and the name of the child or children you want to register.
The number of available places in strictly limited, and there are only a handful remaining, so please register your child as soon as possible. Childcare registration closes 1st September 2024, but it is very likely places will fill up well before that date.
If you do not register your child with our childcare service, they cannot be admitted on the day. We donʼt want to spoil your weekend, so please ensure you register in plenty of time.
