QED Tickets on sale from May 7th, 2024

The wait is almost over – tickets for QED 2024 will be available to buy from 3pm UK time on May 7th, 2024.

QED 2024 promises to be one of the most hotly-anticipated events in the critical thinking calendar, attracting more than 600 attendees and speakers from all over the world to spend a fun-packed weekend at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel.

Each ticket grants attendees full access to all of our content across the weekend, including a main stage of fascinating and entertaining talks, a full schedule of panel discussions, a lively podcast room, a hands-on workshop room, our evening of entertainment and the Ockham Awards presentation from The Skeptic magazine.

QED 2024 will take place on the 19th-20th October 2024. For the first time, this year we’ll be releasing early-bird tickets costing £164 for a full weekend ticket. The early-bird rate will last until 2nd September 2024, giving attendees plenty of time to pick up a ticket at the lower price.

We will once again have a full on-site creche facility available for free to parents who wish to use it, plus our all-day SkeptiCamp event on Friday 18th October will be free for anyone to attend, no ticket required.

For those looking to get a headstart on hotel booking, you can secure a room at the Mercure at a special discount price of £135 per night for a single room, or £147 for a double, by calling the hotel on 0161 751 1412 (Option 1), and quoting the discount code 2410QEDBED between 9am - 5pm on weekdays (calls outside of these hours will be diverted to a central reservations team, who do not have access to this rate). We’d also advise shopping around, as better rates may be available.
