Human Taphonomy Facilities (or 'Body Farms') are outdoor laboratories where donated human cadavers are used for forensic research. There are eleven such facilities around the world, but not one in the UK. In this highly illustrated talk (note: graphic imagery) from QED 2023, Prof Anna Williams tells the story of these unique laboratories and the research conducted at them.
