With QED just days away, we wanted to let you know what precautions we are taking to minimise risk from covid infections.

Masks – while facemasks are not mandatory, some of our attendees might feel more comfortable wearing masks at various points throughout the event. With that in mind, disposable facemasks will be available over the weekend, free of charge.

Covid tests – we encourage any attendee with access to a rapid antigen test to take one over the few days hours, prior to their arrival at the event. While we won’t be checking anyone’s Covid status, as a science and skepticism conference we’re sure none of our attendees will want to be responsible for bringing Covid to QED this year. If you do have a QED ticket but test positive for Covid, please get in touch asap, and we will try to be as helpful as possible.

Together, we can ensure that QED 2024 is as safe as possible for our attendees, and we can all enjoy an excellent weekend of science, reason and critical thinking.
