QED is a two-day science and skepticism convention taking place at the Mercure Piccadilly Hotel in Manchester on the 13th-14th April 2013.

Fantastic speakers from the worlds of science and entertainment will be joining us for a weekend celebration of science, reason and critical thinking.

QED is organised by North West Skeptical Events Ltd on behalf of the Merseyside Skeptics Society and the Greater Manchester Skeptics Society.  North West Skeptical Events is a volunteer owned and run non-profit organisation.

The organisers, GMSS and MSS do not benefit financially from QED, our aim is to break even.  Any surplus will be split between a charity donation and re-investment in future events.  Our nominated charity for 2013 is the Good Thinking Society.
