Covid safety at QED 2022

With QED 2022 just days away, we wanted to let you know what precautions we are taking to ensure that our attendees are as safe as possible over the weekend.
Masks – while facemasks are no longer mandatory in the UK, some of our attendees might feel more comfortable wearing masks at various points throughout the event. With that in mind, facemasks – both disposable and resuable – will be available over the weekend, free of charge.
Hand sanitiser – the hotel has assured us that there will be sanitiser stations available throughout the venue, for our attendees to use.
Covid tests – we encourage any attendee who has access to a rapid antigen test to take one over the next 48 hours, prior to their arrival at the event. While we won’t be checking anyone’s Covid status, as a science and skepticism conference we’re sure none of our attendees will want to be responsible for bringing Covid to QED this year. If you do have a QED ticket but test positive for Covid, please get in touch asap, and we will try to be as helpful as possible.
Together, we can ensure that QED 2022 is as safe as possible for our attendees, and we can all enjoy an excellent weekend of science, reason and critical thinking.
